Zeekr Delivers 36,981 Vehicles in August and Extends Record Streak

Zeekr, Geely Group’s premium electric vehicle brand, continues to gain momentum: In August 2026, it delivered 36,981 vehicles. That is around 110% more than in August of the previous year and around 3% more than in July.

This marks the fifth consecutive monthly record. It is particularly significant for the DACH region—Germany, Austria and Switzerland—because Zeekr is simultaneously expanding its international presence, with the European market increasingly coming into focus over the longer term.

January to August: 251,188 Deliveries, Up 100% Year on Year

In the first eight months of 2026, Zeekr recorded 251,188 deliveries. This represents year-on-year growth of around 100% and shows that the brand is not merely growing on paper, but maintaining steady momentum over several months.

Since deliveries began in 2021, Zeekr has delivered a cumulative total of 894,077 vehicles. The brand itself now says its global user base is approaching 900,000.

What Is Driving the Numbers? The 7X as the Volume Mainstay, While the 9X Attracts New Target Groups

A key component is the family-oriented Zeekr 7X SUV. According to the manufacturer, global orders passed the 200,000 mark in August, with the milestone order coming from Mexico. This is a strong indication that Zeekr is generating demand outside China as well.

According to manufacturer data, the 7X was also recently Zeekr’s biggest driver of revenue and unit sales: From January to July, 62,865 units were delivered, accounting for 29.35% of Zeekr’s deliveries during this period.

Additional momentum from the Zeekr 9X is expected to help sustain this pace. In August, Zeekr also announced that exports of the 9X had officially begun. Further international steps are planned, including launching the 9X in markets outside China, followed by the 009 Grand.

What This Means for Europe and the DACH Region

Two points are crucial for customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland: First, the record streak shows that Zeekr is clearly scaling its production and delivery logistics reliably. Second, high volumes for the 7X are a classic lever for bringing prices, equipment packages and software updates to large-scale production more quickly.

In practical terms, as Zeekr rolls out its models in more countries, the prospects of more extensive service networks, more locally tailored variants and faster parts availability typically improve as well. This still varies by market in Europe, but the direction is clear.

A Look at the Monthly Figures for 2026

The trend in 2026 shows a steady rise from just over 23,000 units in January to the new high in August:

Month (2026) Deliveries
January23,852
February23,867
March29,318
April31,787
May34,377
June35,169
July35,837
August36,981

Why This Is Also Interesting for Tesla Fans

Tesla remains the benchmark for software, efficiency and the charging ecosystem in many markets. At the same time, Zeekr’s growth demonstrates how quickly Chinese brands can scale in the premium segment when the model mix and market-entry strategy are right. Ultimately, more competition usually means faster product cycles, more equipment for the money and greater pressure to improve charging performance and software maturity.

Zeekr’s fifth consecutive record month is less a snapshot than a signal: The brand is scaling steadily over several months, supported by a clear high-volume model and an increasing focus on exports.

Further Context on Zeekr

If you are interested in the factors behind the figures, it is also worth looking at the 7X as a growth engine: In our article on the Zeekr 7X with more than 200,000 orders and a 900-volt approach, we take a closer look at why the model is so important to the brand.

Tesla Model Y L Range Official: EPA Rating Beats Tesla’s Estimate

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has published the official range ratings for the Tesla Model Y L Premium AWD, and they exceed Tesla’s original figures in the configurator. Particularly striking is the small loss of range when switching from 19- to 20-inch wheels. This makes the stretched, three-row Model Y look more efficient than many had expected.
