Tesla generally has no conventional maintenance schedule requiring the vehicle to visit a workshop every year or after a fixed mileage. How does Tesla service work?

The braking system requires particular attention in regions where road salt is used. Because an electric car frequently uses regenerative braking, its brake discs and pads experience less forceful use in everyday driving. Deliberate use of the mechanical brakes can reduce deposits, but this must always be done under safe traffic conditions.
What rules apply to the roadworthiness inspection and tires?
The absence of an annual service does not affect mandatory inspections. Germany’s statutory roadworthiness inspection, known as the Hauptuntersuchung or HU, must be completed on time regardless of Tesla servicing. Seasonal tire changes, repairs following damage and mandatory safety measures also remain the owner’s responsibility.
A Tesla Service Center is not strictly required for tire servicing. However, the workshop should have experience with electric cars, know the correct lifting points and fit suitable tires with the appropriate load rating, dimensions and speed rating.
Does the warranty remain valid without service stamps?
Tesla generally does not make its vehicle warranty conditional on a traditional service booklet being stamped annually.
