Polestar barred from US sales from 2027: what’s behind it
Polestar will apparently no longer be allowed to sell cars in the US from the 2027 model year, but says it is still waiting for a specific explanation from the authorities. The comparison with Volvo is particularly controversial: the Polestar 3 and Volvo EX90 are considered closely related technically, yet only Volvo is said to have received an exemption. Polestar has so far decided not to appeal the decision and plans to focus more heavily on Europe.
