Peugeot 308 as a Fastback Coupé-SUV: What’s Behind It
Peugeot is apparently considering a major change in direction for the next 308: away from the classic hatchback and toward a fastback styled as a coupé-SUV. The future generation is expected to be based on Stellantis’ new STLA One platform, which is primarily optimized for electric powertrains. However, based on current information, a market launch would not be realistic until late 2029 at the earliest.
