With the IM5 and IM6, MG is significantly expanding the upper end of its European line-up. Instead of affordable compact models, the focus this time is on high performance, large batteries and a minimalist premium interior.

IM5 Focuses on Speed and Firm Suspension
The IM5 is clearly aimed at drivers looking for direct handling and substantial performance reserves. The most powerful version delivers more than 515 kW and reaches up to 268 km/h. This puts the sedan in a performance category that only a few electric cars can fully exploit.
Despite the high output, the cabin remains pleasantly quiet when driving at speed. The build quality also makes a premium impression. The firm suspension enhances agility, although it can feel less composed on poor roads than the SUV’s set-up.
IM6 Combines Performance with Greater Comfort
The IM6 follows a similar basic concept but places greater emphasis on long-distance comfort and space. The top version of the SUV also offers enormous performance reserves, although its top speed is limited at a lower level.
